Job Summary
Expro is seeking a skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our team in the Well Intervention Workshop. As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs to a range of equipment, including winches, pumps, and masts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as diagnose and repair equipment in line with work plans, to ensure compliance with company quality and certification standards.
- Assist with the rigging up, building, and rigging down of equipment as required.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload equipment, provided you hold a current driving qualification.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Report incidents and non-conformances in line with company procedures and deadlines.
- Update job packs and return them to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period.
- Liaise with internal departments, such as logistics and stores, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status, and mobilization/demobilization updates.
- Attend tool box talks and planning meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean working environment by performing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Liaise with Supervisor, team members, and operations personnel to ensure effective communication and safe completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Relevant technical qualification.
- Previous work experience in a related product line.
