About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team at Colby Medical Centre. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including conducting assessments, administering vaccines, and performing treatments.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and record medical information accurately.
  • Educate patients on health management and provide guidance on preventive care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • NMC Registration.
  • Basic life support training.
  • Relevant training for childhood immunisation, cytology, chronic disease management, and other areas as required.
  • Leadership and/or management training.
