About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, promoting their mental wellbeing, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, OCD, and Dyslexia, in a supportive and inclusive manner.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students, helping them to develop independence and self-regulation skills.
  • Collaborate with occupational and clinical therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to enhance students' educational experiences.
  • Implement various therapeutic techniques to promote students' emotional and social development.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
