Network Infrastructure Specialist

At Brunel University London, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in the Directorate of Information Services.
Estimated Salary: £39,607 - £46,771
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering network and associated systems to the university, working within a large site/multi-site environment predominantly focused on CISCO technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage routing, switching, and firewall systems
- Monitor network health and performance, evaluating system effectiveness
- Develop strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to configuration management and network architecture development
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality network solutions
Requirements:
- Strong background in routing, switching, and firewall configuration
- Professional experience as a Network Engineer
- Good understanding of configuration management and network architecture
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
