About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Highways, Transport & Planning Service as a Highway Maintenance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
As a Highway Maintenance Specialist, you will provide support to ensure the delivery of services to customers flexibly, efficiently, and effectively. You will undertake a range of tasks as directed, including supporting major schemes, safety improvements, traffic calming, footways, cycleways, pedestrian crossings, drainage, safety barriers, highway signs, road markings, road studs, and Traffic Regulation Orders.
Requirements
This is a career graded role, and the qualifications and key skills are across Grades 7-9. You will assist in timely project delivery, adherence to quality procedures, management system updates, and budget compliance. You will also fulfill communication and consultation requirements of the scheme.
