Overview

PepsiCo is a leading food and beverage company with a strong reputation for brand marketing expertise. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join our team on a temporary maternity cover to help accelerate our energy business.

We're looking for a skilled professional to create and execute brand strategy for our Rockstar energy brand in the UK. The successful candidate will work closely with our International Beverages group to develop local plans rooted in consumer insight and data-driven performance analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, with proven ability to take consumer and customer insight and translate into plans that unlock brand growth. They will also have native collaboration skills and the ability to galvanize cross-functional teams.

We're excited about our work in music and our partnerships with music artists and Live Nation. The successful candidate will lead communication and activation planning for the brand, based on clear understanding of consumer/shopper triggers & barriers to trial along the path to purchase, to unlock sales and build long-term brand equity.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute local brand strategy for Rockstar energy in the UK.
  2. Work closely with our International Beverages group to develop local plans rooted in consumer insight and data-driven performance analysis.
  3. Lead communication and activation planning for the brand, based on clear understanding of consumer/shopper triggers & barriers to trial along the path to purchase.
  4. Manage Brand A&M budget, ensuring most efficient budget deployment, to unlock brand opportunities across the year.
  5. Lead the brand calendars and collaborate strongly with bottler partner, to ensure flawless, timely and commercially strong in-market execution.
  6. Own local brand media & digital planning and use Media analytics to optimize.
  7. Lead local packaging development process.
  8. Execute Rockstar headline partnership, and long-term relationship with Live Nation including all activation and comms planning.

Qualifications

  1. Customer/Channel experience desirable, ideally within FMCG.
  2. Strong strategic mindset, with proven ability to take consumer and customer insight and translate into plans that unlock brand growth.
  3. Problem-solving, with an ability to see solutions within a number of complex scenarios and ability to take others with you.
  4. Native collaboration skills and proven ability to galvanize cross-functional teams.
  5. Ability to shape plans rooted in understanding of consumer, shopper & customer, with a view to driving value across the brand.
  6. A strong drive for results, comfortable with embracing challenges, and working at fast pace with cross-functional teams.
  7. A real passion for Marketing as well as having a high level of commercial acumen.
  8. Be able to be agile, manage change, and a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
