Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Hawk 3 Talent Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring high-quality products, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production output, ensuring daily targets are achieved by the team.
  • Oversee stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to SOPs and PPE guidelines.
  • Conduct quality audits and implement quality control measures.
  • Plan daily schedules, organize staff resourcing, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Address downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Provide real-time reports on achievements, outputs, and deviations from targets.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage returns to work, and report absence issues.
  • Attend daily production and shift handover meetings, escalating urgent orders and checking 1st & 2nd runs.
  • Manage the training matrix, conduct regular reviews, and arrange cross-training.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating the correct behaviors and attitudes.
Requirements:
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Manufacturing background.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong product knowledge of all areas in the production area.
  • Good people management techniques in motivation, development, and communication.
