This role will play a key part in our Transmission Network Development team, working on exciting new projects to enhance our network's capacity and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of projects, collaborating closely with experienced project managers and other stakeholders. Your main focus will be on supporting project managers in achieving their objectives, while also driving customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities include providing support throughout the investment process, driving stakeholder satisfaction, taking ownership of customer feedback, assisting customer account managers, developing cost-effective solutions, conducting site assessments, and fostering innovation.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and business skills, with a passion for delivering results-driven projects. In this 18-month graduate programme, you will receive a tailored development pathway, including in-person and virtual development sessions, 121 coaching, and mentorship from a previous cohort. This will equip you with the essential skills required to excel in your career at National Grid.

A valid full UK Driving License is essential due to regular travel to site locations. You may be eligible for a company car, subject to Business Mileage Allowance Payments (BIK tax), and flexibility to travel within the role and rotations is required.

This role is based in Chelmsford, offering flexible hybrid working, and you will be expected to work in offices and travel regularly within the region.
