Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Services Team as Practice Development Lead. As a key figure in our Practice & Learning Service, you will facilitate and coordinate the continuous improvement of practice quality in line with our Outstanding Practice Framework.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks across Early Help and Children's Social Care
  • Conduct regular practice assurance activities to gather insights from those experiencing practice
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in safeguarding, policy and performance, inspection readiness, and workforce and learning (social care academy)
Requirements

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with substantial experience in leading and managing social work practice. Proven track record in leading effective quality assurance of practice, with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
