About the Role: CV-Library is recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher for a temporary maternity cover position in an Outstanding school. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching Maths, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Learning: Develop and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  2. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and revise the Maths curriculum and schemes of work.
  3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Employ a range of assessment techniques to monitor student progress and understanding.
  4. Student Support and Wellbeing: Establish positive relationships with students and promote a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognized by the DfE.
  • A degree in Maths or a related subject.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
  • Contract: Temporary.
  • Hours: Full Time.
