About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Retail Area Manager to join our team at Distinct Recruitment. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Area Managers, each overseeing 10-15 retail outlets across the East Midlands.

You will be a natural leader, with a strong commercial acumen and excellent people management skills. Your ability to analyze sales data, interpret trends, and make informed decisions will be crucial in driving business growth and exceeding customer service standards.

We are looking for a highly motivated and IT-savvy individual with a passion for retail and a background in food would be a great asset. If you have a proven track record of success in a similar role, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the retail teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns and customer service initiatives
  • Carry out appraisals, disciplinaries, and performance plans as required
  • Set targets and monitor store performance
