Job Title: Science Teacher for SEND Setting in West Midlands

Job Type: Temporary, Permanent, Day to Day, Half Day's, Full Days

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £150 - £210 Per Day

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team in a special educational needs (SEN) setting in the West Midlands. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils with challenging behaviors, developing their personal growth, and ensuring their safety in a classroom environment. Your role will involve taking control of the classroom, engaging pupils, and creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach and support pupils in and out of the classroom, focusing on their personal development and behavior management.
  2. Responsible for classroom management, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all pupils.
  3. Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of pupils with SEND.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to provide a comprehensive support system for pupils.
  5. Monitor and report on pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young adults with challenging behavior.
  • Team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines.
