Community Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Care Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Service in the Amber Valley team. Key Responsibilities- Conduct parenting assessments and provide support to families
- Engage in direct work with children and support plans for families
- Collaborate with other agencies and partner organizations to achieve positive outcomes
- NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards once in post
- Experience of building effective relationships with families and creating rapport
- Knowledge of Child Protection, child development, and parenting abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as assessment and IT skills
- A competitive starting salary of £27,507 with annual increments to £29,418 pro rata
