Job Overview

We Manage Jobs is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sport and Physical Activity Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality Physical Education (PE) and School Sport within our educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver PE Lessons: Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of PE lessons and school sports activities, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Lead After-School Clubs: Lead and supervise breakfast, dinner, and after-school clubs related to sports and physical activities, fostering a positive and engaging environment for students.
  • Organise Competitions: Support the planning and organisation of intra and inter-school competitions, promoting equality and diversity within the school community.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to integrate physical activity into classroom learning during non-PE lesson times, providing additional support in classrooms when needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Keen Interest: A keen interest in Physical Education and working with children and young people.
  • Relevant Experience or Qualifications: Relevant experience or qualifications in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field is desirable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff and students.
  • Ability to Engage Students: Ability to engage and motivate students in physical activities, promoting a love of sport and physical education.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the school schedule, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
