About the Role

The UCL Eastman Dental Institute is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician - QA Specialist to join our team in the Immunobiology section. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality management system is maintained to the highest standards, adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a BSc (2:2 or above) in biomedical sciences or a relevant subject, with significant laboratory experience in a GCP, GMP, GLP, or ISO accredited laboratory. Previous experience of running the Multiplexed Opsonophagocytic Killing assay (MOPA) is essential, and you will be responsible for performing data analysis for reporting to trial sponsors in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the laboratory to the highest standards, adhering to GCP and GLP guidelines
  • Support line managers in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and host sponsor audits
  • Perform MOPA and data analysis for reporting to trial sponsors
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure quality and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work
