About the Role

We are seeking an experienced fund accountant to join our Accounting Technical Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical and accounting advice for M&G's full range of funds and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess the impact of changes in regulations and accounting standards on NAV production, financial reporting, and other regulatory disclosures.
  • Support the investment and product teams in preparing accounting papers for complex transactions and change initiatives.
  • Participate in change initiatives covering fund and share class launches, mergers and closures, in-species, new instruments, and new markets.
Requirements
  • Fund accounting experience, including NAV production, pricing, share class hedging, and financial reporting.
  • Regulatory knowledge, including UK, Luxembourg, Ireland, Channel Islands, Europe, and Asia.
  • Product knowledge, including UCITs and AIFs, accounting policies, and GAAPs.
  • Instrument knowledge, including equity, debt, and derivatives for private and public assets.
  • Fund costs and charges and regulatory templates.
