We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies for our Port Glasgow, Scotland facility.

Job Summary

This role involves designing manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters, implementing and evaluating proposed designs and processes for manufacturability, troubleshooting process-related issues, analyzing workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency in accordance with lean manufacturing principles.

New product introduction and sustaining product process improvements are also key responsibilities of this position. The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Electronics Manufacturing Environment, 2-4 years directly related experience, specifically in an electronic manufacturing environment, knowledge/experience with CAD packages (i.e. Solidworks), experience in Oracle or ERP system, and knowledge of Six Sigma.
