Job Summary

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking partnership of four GPs seeking a dedicated and skilled General Practitioner to join our team. As a GP Partner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the strategic direction of our practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, working six to eight sessions per week
  • Lead clinical teams and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinical quality and patient experience
  • Develop skills in a range of activities, including GP training, undergraduate medical school teaching, prescribing, and clinical leadership
About Us

We are a mixed urban/semi-rural practice with 16,000 patients, serving a diverse population across three sites. We are a SystmOne practice, at the forefront of adopting digital technologies, and have been rated as Good across all areas by the CQC.

We have a broad and varied clinical workforce, including GPs, Advanced Care Practitioners, Paramedics, Mental Health Workers, MSK Practitioners, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Care Co-ordinators, and a highly skilled and experienced nursing team.

We are an active member of the award-winning Selby Town Primary Care Network and a training practice with GP registrars, FY2 doctors, Year 4 medical students, and trainee nurses regularly on site.

Person Specification
  • Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
  • General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
  • MRCGP
  • Full GMC registration
  • National Performers List registration
  • Appropriate MDO indemnity (MPS/MDU)
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
  • Experience of working in a UK primary care setting
  • Evidence of a commitment to continued professional development
  • Excellent level of clinical knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Occupational Health clearance
