We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Bauer Media Group.

As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing communications materials and coordinating activities. You will also catalogue and report on the success of communications campaigns.

This role involves managing both internal and external communications using digital, multi-platform methods. Additionally, you will support the team with administrative and organisational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing communications materials (Press Releases, Internal Newsletters, Social Media Posts) in line with the Bauer Media Audio Communications Strategy.
  • Regularly updating Bauer Media Audio's intranet on SharePoint by uploading and publishing multi-media news assets.
  • Capturing all Bauer Media Audio communications activity within campaign reports.
  • Maintaining the Bauer Media Audio Press Target database.
  • Tracking developments in the media and audio sectors relevant to Bauer Media Audio.
  • Managing Bauer Media Audio's store of creative assets.
  • Contributing to the development of Bauer Media Audio's communications strategy going forward.
  • Conducting research on strategic focuses as defined by the Senior Communications Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience with creating and implementing different communications tactics. An understanding of different communications campaign objectives. Experience creating communications materials for internal and external audiences. Self-motivated - ability to work independently on tasks briefed in by the Senior Communications Manager and other members of the Comms team. Experience of using press database software. Time management - ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-changing work environment. Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
