We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer and a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Computappoint Limited.

About the Role:

Our client, a leading UK-based IT Services and Consulting organisation, requires an Infrastructure Engineer (2-3 years of experience) and a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (5+ years of experience, with some lead experience) to provide hands-on input into the team responsible for supporting various large-scale IT solutions, particularly in the storage and backup space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage virtualisation technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V)
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions (Veeam & Netbackup)

Requirements:

  • Experience with VMware, Veeam, and Netbackup
  • Ability to support a 24/7 support environment (if required)
  • Located within approximately 1 hour of Portsmouth
  • Desire to learn and expand on current knowledge
  • Senior must have 5+ years of experience in similar roles, with leadership experience
  • Understanding of IT consultancy environments
  • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to support customers
