Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced medical professional to fill the position of Otolaryngology Consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

This is a 12-month whole-time post that offers the opportunity to work as a general ENT consultant in a busy teaching hospital environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive ENT service at secondary care level with an on-call commitment of 1 in 14.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general ENT elective and emergency care services
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to teaching and training programs for medical students and junior doctors
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • A Medical Degree
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for ENT via CCT (with a proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview) or CESR
  • Experience of working in the NHS at registrar level or higher
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this post is £105,504 to £139,882 based on location and experience.
