Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding primary school in Aintree. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on delivering phonics interventions and facilitating learning within continuous provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children in the EYFS with a strong focus on phonics interventions and continuous provision.
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage and support children's learning and development, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high-quality education and support.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with additional needs and a strong focus on phonics interventions.
  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Able to support children of all abilities and learning styles.
  • Positive and ambitious attitude to learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
