NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care and promote the values of NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate programs of care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide person-centered care and promote the values of NHS Ayrshire and Arran
  • Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of positive professional behaviors

Working Hours: 34.1 hours per week

From 1 April 2024, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland will be reduced to 37 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
