Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our primary school team in Leeds. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students to enhance their learning.
  • Assist with the assessment of student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Help create a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure they have access to the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the wider school community.
