About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Process Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and improving food production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new food processing methods and recipes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical specifications.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and product defects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in food processing technology.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A relevant qualification in food science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment, preferably within an FMCG setting.
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles and HACCP guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using process mapping tools and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
