About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production to optimize the use of site assets
  • Ensure existing site equipment operates at peak efficiency to maximize benefits
  • Contribute to the exploration of new manufacturing techniques
  • Take initiative in enhancing energy and utilities efficiency to achieve cost savings, while also meeting production demands
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to maintain a consistent and adaptable approach to ongoing improvement
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with safety protocols
  • Follow the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system diligently and punctually
  • Fulfill all necessary statutory documentation requirements
Requirements
  • Mechanical engineering background
  • Sound grasp of health and safety regulations
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Experience in manufacturing or process operations, demonstrating proficiency in planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
  • Fault finding skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and independently
  • Highly motivated and willing to pursue additional personal development supported by the company
