Job Title: Radiography Coordinator

Join Mactech Energy Group as a Radiography Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of radiography services on our Hinkley Point C site.

Job Purpose:

The Radiography Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the radiography support team's activities, ensuring that all radiography work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and HSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate radiography activities with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and safe completion of work.
  • Develop and maintain radiography plans, ensuring that all necessary preparations and clearances are in place.
  • Monitor and report on radiography performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Radiography Subject Matter Expert to ensure that all radiography work is carried out in accordance with company standards and HSE guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Radiography Support Team to ensure that all radiography work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • PCN or equivalent ISO 9712/ASME level 2 radiographer qualification.
  • Previous experience working on large construction/refit projects with significant levels of radiography.
  • Good knowledge of other non-destructive testing techniques/standards.
  • Knowledge and experience from working in the nuclear sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
