Radiography Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiography Coordinator to join our team at Mactech Energy Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of radiography services on our construction site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate radiography services with installation contractors and radiography service providers
  • Ensure timely delivery of radiography services, taking into account time and safety constraints
  • Manage the storage of radiographic film and develop a strategy for digitizing radiographs
  • Champion non-radiological testing technologies to ensure ALARP in meeting nuclear safety requirements
  • Monitor safety of work activities and ensure work is delivered as planned
Requirements:
  • PCN or equivalent ISO 9712/ASME level 2 radiographer qualification
  • Previous experience working on large construction/refit projects with significant levels of radiography
  • Good knowledge of other non-destructive testing techniques/standards
  • Knowledge and experience from working in the nuclear sector
