Youth Worker and Mentor Opportunity

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a youth worker and mentor. The successful candidate will have a degree in Psychology, Health and Social Care, or Education, and will have experience working with young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work with the lead teacher to engage the student
- To be flexible and work with the student outside the classroom
- To provide a positive role model for young people
- To build relationships with pupils
- To have a right to work in the UK
- To access transportation (bicycle, car, or near main bus routes)
- To be available to work five days a week, term time only
- To have relevant references and DBS/police checks, if required
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Free DBS (refunded after working five days)
- Recommending a friend bonus scheme
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology, Health and Social Care, or Education, and will have experience working with young people. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
