About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Exterior Trim team at Aston Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering exterior trim components for our future models.

Your primary focus will be on working with a team of outsourced CAD or project engineers to deliver high-quality exterior trim components on time and to our exacting standards. You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as being delivery-focused and cost-conscious.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer exterior trim components, including bumpers, sills, spoilers, and brightware
  • Work closely with the team to ensure technical aspects are met and parts are delivered on time and to quality
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business, including engineering, manufacturing, and design
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of design and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teamcentre
