About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our Surgical Division at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective medication management for patients within our surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement medication management strategies to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to junior pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy services and policies
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in a surgical specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess and minimize medication-related risks
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
