We are seeking talented students to join our multi-disciplined teams and support projects across our Transmission business. As a summer placement student, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in the energy sector.

Our Transmission Engineering summer placements provide:

  • A 12-week placement in one of our engineering-based teams
  • Real hands-on experience and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects
  • Collaborative working environments and the chance to take ownership of your role
  • Networking and presentation opportunities, specialist sessions, and support from our graduates

We are looking for students who:

  • Are in their 2nd year of their degree onwards and will graduate between 2026 and 2028
  • Have some practical work or project experience that reflects their passion for the energy sector
  • Can demonstrate experience of working in a team
