Overview
The Client Transport Team is seeking to recruit two Transport Supervision Assistants available Monday to Friday during term time, from 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm.
This position involves working collaboratively within a team to oversee students aged 11-17 as they wait for and board their school buses in the afternoon at the Aylesbury Coach Park.
Please be aware that this role requires an enhanced DBS check.

Role Responsibilities
As part of The Client Transport Compliance and Safeguarding Team, this role has been established to address the growing responsibilities of the team and ensure consistency among staff members. Your duties will specifically relate to the Aylesbury School Coach Park Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that coaches depart on schedule.
- Safeguarding students who may miss their transport.
- Maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of students within the coach park.
- Monitoring vehicle arrivals and departures, reporting any delays or issues to the appropriate authorities.
The coach park accommodates approximately 1500 students and around 30 vehicles daily.
Work Environment
As a 'fixed' worker, you will primarily operate from a designated location, likely a fixed office or area where your responsibilities are carried out. You will typically be situated alongside your team, as your role necessitates providing a specific service from that location.
Candidate Profile
This role is diverse, with no two days being identical. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring coaches are in their designated lanes and depart at the scheduled times.
- Implementing and adhering to health and safety policies within the coach park.
- Addressing any inquiries students may have regarding their transport.
- Assisting students who miss their coach by directing them back to school for alternative arrangements.
- Reporting incidents to management and school staff as necessary.
- Returning lost property to schools.
We are looking for responsible and dependable individuals to fulfill this essential role.
