Consultant Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Haematologist to join our dynamic team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical and laboratory haematology services, you will play a vital role in delivering excellence in clinical care and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist advice and a referral service for other clinicians in the Trust
Contribute to high-quality, effective, evidence-based services for inpatient, outpatients, and day care
Undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of clinics or departments
Help provide triaging/vetting of referrals and advice and guidance to local GPs
Participate in the consultant on-call rota and provide cover for colleagues in time of absence and leave when required
Person Specification
Entry on the GMC Specialist Register with UK CCT in Haematology
Broad knowledge of Haematology
