We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Norton Court House, a specialist longer-term service for children and young people with a diagnosed Learning Disability and who display challenging behaviour as a result.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing intensive levels of support and care to help the young people we care for develop social and life skills. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the young people and support them in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and care to young people with complex needs, including assistance with daily living tasks and personal care.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential child care.
- Work collaboratively with the on-shift team leader and management to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
