Job Title: Career Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our careers team, you will be responsible for providing excellent careers information, advice, and guidance to students in their progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality careers information, advice, and guidance to students
  • Support students with their career choices and set career targets
  • Provide students with the information, opportunities, and experiences they need to make informed decisions about their future
  • Work closely with the Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance Leader and the Students Support team
  • Attend open events and external events to promote the college

Requirements:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths
  • Level 3 in Advice and Guidance (or working towards)
  • Knowledge of qualifications within Further Education and progression opportunities
  • Ability to advise students on career choices and progression opportunities
