Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate support staff to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for service users through community-based activities and daily shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures, maintaining high standards of care.
  • Support service users' involvement within the community and development of their abilities.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of support workers, providing hands-on support when required.


Requirements

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience in rota management and shift planning.
  • Ability to support individuals with emotional, social, and physical needs.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license is a must.
  • Previous supervisory experience in social care.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
  • Diligent, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
