Aged Care Support Role

BallyCara is a charitable organisation that offers a wellness-focused lifestyle for our clients to facilitate independent living, health, and happiness.

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and provide care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks, as well as providing social support and facilitating community and wellness activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks.
  • Provide social support and facilitate community and wellness activities.
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events.
  • Travel throughout the community between client homes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community, or current nursing students with completed aged care placement.
  • Previous experience in aged care or community services.
  • Basic computer skills and accurate documentation.
  • Current Australian Open Drivers License, reliable vehicle, National Police Check, first-aid and CPR certificates, and COVID-19 vaccination status as per the Government recommendations.
