About the Role

As a Credit Management Expert, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of client accounts and ensuring the efficient collection of invoices in line with team targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • To achieve monthly cash collection targets through proactive and overdue credit control techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily cash received for reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with colleagues to resolve invoicing queries and process credit notes once authorisation has been obtained.
  • Ensure excellent client service in all interactions and provide statements to clients on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile client accounts on both billed and unbilled debt in Excel format.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Credit Control within a large organisation.
  • Target-driven individual with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Team player with a flexible and committed approach.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £42,000 - £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a range of benefits including 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), flexible hybrid working model, investment in your learning and development, and access to free wellbeing apps.
