About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day running of the development, providing clear direction to site staff and ensuring they meet their responsibilities and targets.
  2. Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with our Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  3. Motivate and support directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance.
  4. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times.
  5. Deliver all aspects of production requirements in accordance with technical and planning documentation.
  6. Fully comply with building regulations and warranty providers' requirements.
  7. Update and send accurate production/progress returns to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requested.
  8. Maintain adequate site records, including Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions, and health and safety records.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  2. Effective team management experience.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
