Banking and Cash Administrator

**Role Summary**

We are looking for a skilled Banking and Cash Administrator to join our client's team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash and banking operations, ensuring accurate records and efficient processes.

Main Duties:

  1. Process and reconcile cash and banking transactions, including BACS and Direct Debits.
  2. Manage centre banking reconciliation and journal entries.
  3. Support the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and maintaining payment schedules.
  4. Handle queries from colleagues and external parties, responding promptly and professionally.
  5. Contribute to process improvements, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in banking and cash administration, preferably in a similar role.
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  3. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  6. Methodical approach to work.

Salary: £24,500 - £29,500 per annum, depending on experience. We value diversity and welcome applications from candidates with disabilities.
