About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join our team at Slater and Gordon. As a leading consumer law firm, we pride ourselves on providing world-class legal services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Court of Protection law, with experience in drafting applications for the appointment of deputies, property and affairs, and statutory will applications. They will also have knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and have dealt with purchase of properties.

As a Court of Protection Solicitor at Slater and Gordon, you will have the opportunity to work on complex cases, delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff, and participate in marketing opportunities and contribute to blogs and media commentary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting applications for the appointment of deputies, property and affairs, and statutory will applications
  • Working on complex cases, including purchase of properties
  • Delegating tasks to paralegals and support staff
  • Participating in marketing opportunities and contributing to blogs and media commentary
