About the Role

The Court of Protection department handles the property and affairs of vulnerable clients who lack the required capacity to make their own financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice and representation to clients in Court of Protection matters.
  2. Manage the property and affairs of vulnerable clients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals, such as deputies and court officials, to ensure effective decision-making.
  4. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, including the Mental Capacity Act and the Court of Protection Rules.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Court of Protection law.
  2. Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and the Court of Protection Rules.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
