Job Summary

Dechra is a global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals, with a strong focus on developing, manufacturing, and marketing high-quality products for veterinarians worldwide. We're seeking a skilled Senior Manufacturing Technician to join our team in a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist supervisors in the absence of supervision and take responsibility for equipment used in manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure all aspects of equipment use, from setup to cleaning, are carried out to a high standard in line with GMP procedures.
  • Manufacture products to the highest quality standard, compliant with GMP guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure all activities are within set Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements
  • Experience of low to medium volume manufacturing/packaging, manual/semi-automated manufacturing processes.
  • Proven industry experience from a highly regulated GMP manufacturing/packing facility, either from the Pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry/environment.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience of pharmaceutical manufacture, continuous improvement activities, and ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety compliance.
