Lead Childcare Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Lead Childcare Manager. Located in Hereford, this role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for children in a dual-registration home.
This challenging position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to make informed decisions that promote the welfare of young people.
The successful candidate will possess a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent and have at least one year of management experience in a children's residential setting or similar services.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £37,000 per annum, a bonus scheme, company pension, employee discounts, and a health & wellbeing programme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality care and safeguarding for children in a dual-registration home, maximising their life chances.
- Assist the Registered Manager in the daily management of two dual-registered homes, implementing recommendations from Ofsted Inspections and Regulation 44 visits.
- Contribute to the Care Planning process by attending and preparing for children's conferences, reviews, planning meetings, and core group sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of children's progress.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all duties and information encountered.
- Participate in supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
- Work with the management team to prepare and implement a rota system that ensures the safety, security, and care of children in our care.
