About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Spectrum Disorder Teaching Support to join our team at a Good-rated primary school in Haringey. This long-term role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students with ASD in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support to students, assisting them with academic tasks and social skills development. Your focus will be on ensuring that every child feels confident and capable in their learning, whether in small group settings or one-to-one support.

Job Description:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD and other SEND needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of IEPs and contribute to the development of tailored learning plans.
  • Support the class teacher in differentiating the curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
  • Help create an engaging, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:
