Operations Supervisor Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our team of operatives and drivers in a busy freight processing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team, ensuring all team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently, and planning and taking action to achieve service levels targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of operatives and drivers
- Motivate and treat team members fairly and consistently
- Plan and take action to achieve service levels targets
- Educate team on business goals and service objectives
- Ensure team follows safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices
Requirements
- Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment
- Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Strong customer focus
- Good communication skills
