Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients to live safe and supported lives in their own homes. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, providing personalized care and support to help them maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes, including assistance with personal care, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify and address client needs, developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance the quality of care we provide.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or a related field (not required but desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of clients and the organization
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity and well-being
