Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on site assets to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain building plant, equipment, and systems to meet expectations and agreed service level agreements, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs, minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Manage Permit to Work systems and maintain Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems in accordance with L8 standards, guaranteeing compliance with relevant regulations.
- Evaluate and order suitable spares to ensure adequate inventory levels for maintenance activities.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records, providing valuable insights into equipment performance and operational trends.
- Develop and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
- Supervise engineering subcontractors and ensure contractual commitments and site operating processes are followed, maintaining high-quality work standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial setting.
- Possession of electrical qualifications, such as City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
- A good understanding of SFG20 guidelines, enabling effective implementation of electrical maintenance practices.
- The ability to supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Provision of two professional references from recent work projects (within the last 5 years).
- Ownership of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots and basic hand tools.
Working Conditions:
- Standard working hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive hourly rate: £24 per hour minimum.
