Electrical Maintenance Professional
Mainstay Facilities in Aberdeenshire invites applications from skilled Electrical Maintenance Professionals to fill this exciting role. As an Electrical Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing renewable energy installations across the Council's portfolio of domestic properties. A competitive salary of £42,000 - £60,000 per year is offered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on solar PV systems, battery storage solutions, and EV charging points to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve system faults, minimising downtime, and perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of installations.
  • Ensure compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and certify work to BS 7671 standard through thorough inspections and testing.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments to protect both residents and the workforce.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and replacements, preparing performance reports and managing spare parts inventory.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Experience in domestic electrical maintenance.
  • Certification in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
  • Familiarity with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and ability to certify work.
  • CSCS Card (or equivalent).
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
